About
A hands-on log of Claude Code and automation. I build alongside AI and write down what I did, where I got stuck, and what I'll try next — as-is. The goal is to keep the honest process rather than a tidy success story: the failures, and even the blogs I let die unfinished in the past, are all fair game.
Where I'm coming from
I've worn several hats — engineer, data scientist, project manager, and engineering manager — but honestly, I'm not that into management. And this year my day job started weighting management more heavily in how I'm judged — the "technical chops" I worked so hard to build are quietly fading as a yardstick, and that leaves me with a vague unease. So what I actually want is to automate my own work alongside AI and break out into autonomy (FIRE). This blog is the unvarnished play-by-play of that attempt.
What I write about
- Claude Code & automation (the main act) — notes on letting systems do the work, concrete enough to copy.
- Work & meta-analysis (where it grows) — toward the bigger question of how we work, as the practice piles up.
By "meta-analysis" I mean refusing to treat events as isolated points: I bundle my own and others' experience as "data" and read the patterns. Sometimes the operation log of this very blog (writing, translating, publishing, traffic) becomes the subject.
About this site
A static site built with Astro, authored in Japanese first and then expanded into English. The process of automating that operation with Claude Code will itself become posts here.
